Hello! I’m Camron Ganchi, a Muslim Iranian-American residing in the vibrant state of New Jersey. My journey is deeply rooted in the rich tapestry of Iranian culture and history—a heritage that I am passionate about sharing with the world.

Iranian history is a realm that, I believe, is often misunderstood and overlooked, frequently overshadowed by broader perceptions of the Middle East. Through this website, I aim to challenge these misconceptions by unveiling the unique and fascinating history of Iran. My goal is to enlighten and inspire by bringing to light aspects of our culture and history that are seldom explored in mainstream discourse.

A Personal Connection
The catalyst for my dedication to this cause stems from my own family history. My parents migrated to America as refugees following the Iranian Revolution. Their stories of struggle, resilience, and eventual triumph in the face of drastic and sudden change have been a constant source of inspiration for me. It is these narratives that spurred the creation of the resources page on this site, designed to assist others who are navigating their own journeys into American life, whether as refugees or in other capacities.

​Environmental Advocate
Beyond my cultural endeavors, I have a profound interest in environmental sustainability. This passion is reflected not only in several blog posts but also in dedicated sections throughout the site, where I discuss Iran’s environmental practices and ancient sustainable methods. I also run a YouTube channel, Sketching Nutrition, where I delve into topics related to health and the environment. For those interested in a practical tool to aid in environmental stewardship, I developed Food FootPrints, an iOS app that helps track your environmental impact based on your dietary choices.
